Since GC is becoming like Sorority Life...
I will steal the lines of our favorite DZO pledge Brooke.
If you have a problem with anything i post, PM ME. More than likely i will be happy to explain my thoughts to you. I am not out here to make enemies like certain other GC posters, if i post something that has a bit of an edge to it, it is 99% of the time in jest.
i apologize to any that i offended with my "reasons Texas is better than nebraska" thread. However, if you reread my posts on that thread, the MOST negative thing that I posted was a couple of football scores from 2 years ago. HELL, any bugeater that was pissed could have called scoreboard on me for this year's game and i'd have shut up.
I'm sorry that i'm proud of this state and everything that it means to be a Texan. My sense of what it means to be a Texan is a little heightened lately, mostly because i just completed a Texas History course this spring and was refreshed with the struggles of the heros that carved this state out of a harsh wilderness. I'm sorry if that comes across as arrogance, but i'm certain all of us have the same kind of pride in something. Whether it be your GLO, your job, a goal that you achieved, accomplishments, etc. Mine happens to be in my Fraternity, School, State and Country.
I guess being an Aggie i'm used to taking a good-natured ribbing from time to time. AlphaSig and others i'm sure know a few good Aggie jokes. I didn't think that some of y'all are a little more quick to anger.
Once again, i apologize for any feelings that i may have hurt, but i implore GC that if I do something to offend, please contact ME. When i hear that other people are taking up arms for PMs they recieved concerning me, it makes me think of the DZO pledges tattling to sisters as opposed to taking it up directly with their pledge sisters. I know that we are not in the same pledge class here, but i do believe that most of us are peers and should be able to handle these situations person-to-person.

KS 361 times whoever said Texas isn't southern needs to review the states that fought for the Confederacy, remember that the majority of population infux post-civil war was displaced Deep Southerners, understand that like the other states of the South, our economy was largely based on the cotton industry, and know that Texas never was or is mediocre.
