I'M FUMING!!!
I'm sitting here watching "Politically Incorrect" with Bill Mahr. There's a black man, the Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson. I don't know if any of you have heard of him, but he's one IGNORANT brother. He's on there talking about how Jesse Jackson is brainwashing Blacks. He's saying while Rev. Jackson is sending his kids to the best schools, he's teaching Black America to depend on the government. He also thinks that Rev. Jackson is trying to get black people riot over the election. But this part is what got me going. He said that blacks should stop whining and looking for handouts. He said that we should start earnign our way. He said that our main problem as blacks is that the majority of us are lazy. To me this hurts more than if someone outside my race was saying it. I know that none of his dubious statements are true, but I think it's only natural for me to feel a little angry at his comments. Also, he's saying these kinda comments on a nationally syndicated program. What is the rest of America thinking of us. This brother needs to be dropped. If you've seen the Spike Lee movie "Drop Zone", you know what I'm talking about.
