Post DESTRUCTION

What do you guys think about the destruction of personal property at the end of a relationship.

Recently, I had a very good friend of mine call me up, and actually brag about the way that she had demolished her babies' daddy belongings because she caught him cheating.

She regaled me with the story of how she took the scissors and "got to cuttin'" up everything in sight. Then, when her hands got tired from cutting, she got bleach, and bleached everything (including the fish in the fishtank) in her line of fire.

Is there ever a time when destruction is deserved?
If you are hurt badly enough, or if he gives you an STD, is it ok to damage his property?

I just want to get you all's opinions.

Also, do you think that destruction is becoming more common? Back in the day, ladies used to cut the crotches out of pants, but now days people are keying vehicles, killing pets, and holding children for ransom.
