I know we have a lot of rant threads and I was too lazy to see if any were about bosses so I started my own.
I have 2 jobs after months of searching. One job is prepaid legal. Basically I work under this guy and he sends me leads. I call these people and explain preapaid legal. It's not telemarketing (thankfully) because these people wanted to hear about prepaid legal. Anyway I had to get another phone line and get my internet to be the one that is not dial up. So I've been waiting for that. So I officially start tomorrow. Well this guy, I'll call him, Sam, calls me everyday. He talks to me for atleast 40 min. 99% of the time it is repetive.
Yes, I have a young sounding voice, but I'm not an idiot and I have worked with phones before. He's driving me out of my mind. I really don't want to spend time on the phone with him. I need the money so I don't want to tell him I don't want to do it because 1) he's the son of my mom's boss 2) he already paid my associate fee so I didn't have to
