Yay for Formals!
Our formal was May 10th and the theme was 'The Secret Garden'. Our awesome social chair actually got a hardware store to let us borrow an arbor, and we decorated with tissuepaper flowers, tulle, and a giant banner (painted by yours truely!) The themes we've had since I've been a PiPhi were 'Southern Comfort: A debutant ball' last year and my frosh year was 'Speakeasy' a roaring 20's theme. It's been tons of fun, we always have it in the same place (The ballroom of The Kensington. It used to be an illustrious hotel that now serves as a retirement community...but it's beautiful and right downtown).
