My First Founders Day
Last night, my chapter sister Michelle and I went to the Springfield City Council's Founders Day banquet. It was so nice, and everyone wanted to shake our hands and hear about our new chapter. All of the sisters were so friendly and welcoming! I was so proud to represent Delta Pi at this special event. I was also really, really happy to share the evening with Michelle. She is so dedicated to Beta, but she is graduating in 3 short weeks. I'm really going to miss her. It was a night filled with many emotions...the pride of being a Beta Sigma Phi, the joy of sharing time with sisters, and the sadness of knowing that a sister is leaving. Overall, it was a fantastic night.
