Paying Dues???????????????
As I have stated in all of my posts, I am a neo and still putting together the do's and don'ts of the greek world. I have met many sorors in the past week and either before or after I meet them, someone makes the statement that they come to programs from time to time but they are not financial.
My question is, if the pledge you make to any greek organization is supposed to be for life along with the bonds of sisterhood/friendship, then why turn your back on a soror that is a financial rut but still supports the programs? I personally think that someone's time is just as good as their money.
I know my illustrious organization operates on the dues and gifts of its members and if you are able to pay, you should, but turning your back on a soror in a financial rut in my book is against the rules!
What are your thoughts on the situation?
