keep it a secret
Greetings Ladies and sisterfriends,
I have a problem that I need advice on, the problem is that although rush is where an interest airs their interest, on my campus rush seems to be a secret. I know that other organizations have rush but from what I am told the members of that organization post a notice in a crazy spot on campus and then take it down in less than an hour. I have also heard that the members tell the people who they know they want as members and those who they know for sure are interested. My problem is that I know some of the members in the chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha that I hope to join and some of the members that I don't know somehow know me and they know I am interested. My question is do I just rely on them to tell me when rush comes around or try some other way of finding out, if this is so how would I go about finding out the information if it is a "secret." In the past I have checked the activities office to see if the AKA's had any scheduled events and they have only seminars then a line came over at the end of the semester, however I was only a freshmen and I was not eligible for that line anyway but now that I am eligible (a junior) what do I do to make sure the opportunity does not pass me by?
Sorry for the length. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Respectfully Hopeful
