Talking Shaft with Samuel L. Jackson

Has anyone seen the movie yet? I saw it last night and I really enjoyed it because it so funny. Of course, Samuel L. Jackson is one of my favorite actors so that made it even better.

I read a review of the movie by a local reporter in the newspaper this morning, and it was less than flattering. It seems to me that most black films are usually given poor ratings by critics. Is it just me, or does anyone else think they (usually white critics) have a difficult time grasping the concept of a movie targeted for a black audience? Very seldom do they get it.
