To add on to that, if your friend is afraid to go, but only wants to go for BC pills, it may be a good idea if she just goes to Planned Parenthood. I'm not entirely sure if she needs to be examined though, if she goes there because I go through my own doctor. Anyone know for sure?
Swissmiss, I'm also very sorry to hear what you're going through. I have two friends who have cervical cancer (one is 20 and one is 21... so young), and my cousin was just diagnosed. Good luck with that, and I hope your story inspires others to be more aware.
