Thank You to all the ladies that answered me. I am truly appreciative of all your support and comments.
To clarify my statments. 24play said it right. Those forms of media are not my reasons for wanting to join. They were presented to me as a youth and at that time that is why I wanted to join because I thought that is what you did when you went to College or at least a Black college. As i am much older I know the REAL reason and I still want to be apart of that.
I was just sending my thanks to these Ladies in particular and letting them know that they have left a lasting impression on me. And whether or not I am invited to become a member I am grateful for their open arms and hospitality
