What kept me going was the firm belief that something new and
necessary was being founded. I was a candidate for a year rather than a semester, since my chapter was going through its colony period at the time. I found friendship and I
sisterhood...and that made all of the trials and tribulations worthwhile. Through the strength of sisterhood, I know I can survive the worst odds. This knowledge sustains me even now.
