Feeling underappreciated

Hi Ladies,

Do you ever feel underappreciated within your sorority? Well, I do. I work really hard but I still don't get appreciated for anything. I'm also on E-board and hold a chair and co-chair committees. I feel as though it's favorism or bias among alot of the sister's because some of them don't do anything but everyone loves them. For example one sister was PR chair last semester and did not do anything for the whole semester such as put up flyer, press releases, any type of pr opportunities and did not get sent to j-board. But last school year Fall 2001 when I was pr chair I did everything except for get our wooden sign up and I get sent to j-board for that. I think that's a bunch of crap, also now the girl who was pr chair is now president and she still doesn't do anything but they love. I feel as though our vice president should have been president she works so much harder. Our vp ran for president but I think it was also favortism on how the vp won the election. The prior president thinks she controls the sorority, yes she has been in the sorority the longest but it is still our sorority too. She's always saying that "This is my sorority and I don't want anyone bringing it down or ruining my sorority". I just feel as though it's not fair to say such things because we work hard on e-board for her to say were not doing a good job.

Besides feeling resentment is then anything that I can do to feel better about being in the organization. I feel as though all my efforts are overlooked because of cliques and basis in the sorority.
