Question Legacy

First of all, I would like to say I love this website, but one must still be careful because you don't know who could be reading and from what chapter they are from. I have been told by many people that I am a "shew in" for Alpha Kappa Alpha. My mom and 2 of my aunts are active members of the graduate chapter that "supports" (not sure if that is the right word to use or not) the undergraduate chapter here at my school and my great aunt is a charter member of the chapter here. I am a freshmen and would like to pledge next year. I am wondering what do you think of legacies? Don't get me wrong, I want to "pledge" and don't want it handed to me, but everyone is like, you know regardless you are in. I have the grades, do my part of community service, and know the AKA and chapter history, what I should know at this point of course , like the back of my hand. I want AKA sooo bad. Like I said I was just wondering what you ladies thought of legacies and if you think other will look at me funny once I pledge?

For a perfect and blessed day, start with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude!
