My university did multiple bids. Not having any NPC orgs, our rush was structured differently.

Rush is *3* weeks.. during wich there are multiple parties- but only 1 sorority per night (or fraternity).

Usually the first 2 rounds were completely open. You have to sign up for rush, and if you're rushing sororities you *have* to attend all of the events in the beginning. (The fraternities are completely open - you can rush 1, 2 or all..)

Then, the sororities begin to cut rushees, but rushees still are required to attend all of the events they are invited back to (notable exceptions like having class or lab are obviously excusable). -This was ONLY for the social sororities. OPA & the co-ed orgs didn't require this, but encouraged it.

So it was possible to keep getting invited back to all of the sororities. Then on the last day of rush you are given your bid(s). There were only 3 social sororities, so if that's all you were interested in, you didn't have a huge decision.

Seemed to work okay.
