Prom Dresses. . . It's A Whole New World

To my prom, I wore a mauve colored floor length gown, back out, with strings of rhinestones going across that back. He wore a black tux. Now that I think back, and look at pics, my itsh was a little gaudy for 1989 I'm old!

Were you prom king/queen?
Yes, I was the prom queen...yipeeeee! My last little claim to fame.


Did you go with someone special or friend?
I went with my boyfriend of four years at the time. He went to an al male Catholic high school here in LA and I went to a co-ed Catholic school. Needless to say, with nuns and priests, our proms were a helluva lot of fun.
I also went to a few other proms with friends of mine who coincidentally also went to the other more popular all male institutions here in LA. That made things...interesting!

What was your prom theme?

If Only For One Night...I think (Big Lutha not Lil Lutha). No, that was his, hell I can't even remember...I'ma have to go over to mom's house and get the O/G champagne glasses to see. :smile:

How much did your prom cost? Some proms now have ish

Damn! I don't know. I think it was nothing for me because I was on the court. For his he was on the court so again, it didn't even matter...we were VIP
