The most important thing is to let her know you are thinking of her, and that she is an important member of the chapter. Too often the big/ little and secret senior buddy revolves around who can spend the most money.... don't know about you, but I didn't have a whole lot of $$$ as an undergrad!
Some ideas that would be inexpensive:
* get a yahoo email addy and send her inspirational poems weekly
*find out if she's interviewing for jobs/ grad schools and send her 'thinking of you' goodies the night before (again... like hershey hugs)
*tuck cards under her windshield wiper or under her door.
Make sure she knows where/ when events will take place. So often, the needs of our senior members are different and they cannot come to all the meetings. It would be great to let her know you missed her if she didn't come, or how great it was to see her if she did.
