Its not that they are bad artists per se . . . its that they break the sacred:

Seriously, male musicians become tranformed into desirable sex objects when they start playing. A little like the added sex appeal Letters give Frat Boys. . to Freshmen girls anyway lol.
So when you look at men like the New Kids . . . well they are obviosuly guys that have no trouble getting girls . . . or shouldn't.
This is unlike the so-called deep tortured artist that went unwashed and unclothed for years in his basement composing his pain to be transformed into a pleasure seeking sex god.
If you think about it you can see the betrayal.
