On the lines of the State of the Union, I got this email from a friend of mine:

Top 10 likely conclusions of the phrase, "The state of the union is..."

10. good, at least Uncle Colin and Uncle Dick think so...

9. "embettered."

8. "securitized."

7. "misunderestimated."

6. "malfeance."

5. "sublimable."

4. "revengeful."

3. "resignate."

2. undermined by "terriers and bariffs."

1. in need of an "anecdote."
