1. Watching The Proud Family this morning got me to pontificating
. . . how come the Black men on TV, namely Heathcliff "Combustible" Huxtable, Carl Winslow, and Oscar Proud never wanted anyone in to fix things that broke around the house or extermination in Oscar's case. Something broke down, Harriet, Clair, Trudy would say Honey we need to call a repairmen and out these men would come with a tool boot and jack up the house far worse than it originally was. I cannot believe that that dang on doorbell was broke for like 2 seasons.
2. Watching Living Single right now, how come they always left the house without locking the door? Yesterday I saw the episode where their house was broken into while at home, can't those heffas learn to LOCK.
