You think that's horrible? I always make sure I have a cute, matching (or at least semi-coordinated) bra and underwear set on despite the fact that I don't have a boyfriend and am not the type who's into random hookups (no offense to anyone who is, I just wanted to point out that I'm not preparing for anything). Most of my friends go for comfort unless they know someone will see it, but not me. Even if I'm just changing in front of one of my roommates, I don't want anyone to be all, "Damn, check out the grandma bra on her!" It's the same as my attitude about makeup - I may not have a ton on, but I still don't want anyone going, "What truck ran her over?", even if I have no one to impress.
I guess I always want to appear pulled-together even if no one else around me is.
