So, I just got home from the movie. Yes, I'm a closet Trekkie fan (thanks to my dad and his relentless watching of TNG!
) Loved the movie...but had two major annoyances.
1. Why oh why did they have to kill Data?! He is the BEST Star Trek character BY FAR!!!! I was so upset when the ship blew up....and I kept waiting for it to be revealed that it wasn't actually Data, but B-4 (which it could have been....Data and Picard never talked on the Romulan vessel). But, alas it was not him.
2. Why didn't they have the Troi/Riker Betazed wedding?! That would have been the *perfect* ending to the movie.....especially to see Worf there, in full *costume* (or lack thereof!
), scowling!
Haha...I can see it now!
Oh well, the movie was still great!
My fave line in it had to be "You have the bridge....Mr. Troi"!
So what did y'all think of it?!
