Greek Week at Clarion usually ended up being decent because they had impartial judges for things like Sing. Derby Daze was another story...gee, for some reason the sorority that all the Sigma Chi little sisters were in always won.
My take on DD was it was just a chance to have big dumb fun and not get too worried about it. Pretty much no one else gave a crap either. We actually won one year when they had impartial judges - what does that tell you? If winning things like that is something that really effects rush, your standing on campus etc. I would lobby for them to change the judging system.
