Still we ask, How Come?

HC, Thank You to my Sorors and Sisterfriends for all of your prayers and well-wishes.
HC I've been having nightmares for the last two nights about what happened.
HC we went to look at my car yesterday and it's TOTALLED.
HC I just thank the Lord that I got out of that car without much injury.
HC I could have been seriously hurt.
HC that's what these nightmares are about.
HC I have a phobia about driving right now.
HC it's really bad at intersections.
HC I've got to continue to give it to God in prayer.

HC the other car was at fault.
HC everything happened so quickly that it's been all a blur.
HC one of my kids' babysitters happened to be in the Dollar Tree store where the accident happened in front of.
HC she saw the WHOLE THING.
HC she said that the other car had come out of a video store parking lot at a high speed and merged into the far lane of traffic.
HC I was making a left turn onto a busy street.
HC as I took off to make the turn, I am certain there were no cars coming towards me.
HC BOOM....we hit head on.
HC I was like WTF? where did that car come from.
HC my witness cleared that up for me.

HC, Soror Ideal, I didn't really have any burns from the airbag fumes.
HC but I could feel a burning sensation on my skin for some time.
HC inhaling all those fumes had my lungs trippin'.

HC my little Dodge Stratus came through for me.
HC seatbelts held me in and the airbags did their thang too.
HC the entire front end of my car was pushed back to the windshield.

HC GOD is the one that protected me in this accident.
HC he saw to it that I was able to get out of that car and literally walk away.
HC I can deal with a little neck pain.
HC I can even deal with a broken nail.
HC Thank You Jesus.
