If I have been wronged, often it does not matter if the person appologizes. A wrong is a wrong, and no amount of appologizing can recover that.
Oh, and I do agree. An appology must be sincere for it to be accepted. There is nothing worse than hearing a pathetic "I'm sorry" which you feel is not worthy of being listened to.
