Kappa Kappa Gamma Founders Day
Hug a Kappa-- It's our Founders Day!
132 years ago today six women marched into the Chapel at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois, wearing Golden Keys in their hair. The ovation they received from the fraternity men lasted a full twelve minutes. On that day the first Greek letter fraternity for Monmouth women officially came into existence.
On a side note, our chapter also celebrated Founders Day by pledging a new sister to membership. I'm so excited to welcome her and see our chapter grow!
