Has anyone else seen this? I just saw it last night with some friends. There were some really disturbing things going on!
All of my friends and I were kind of quiet afterwards, and one of them was like "We're all quiet". Another one said "I'm still confused about that movie". There just wasn't any closure. Lots of loose ends. It was based on a book, which I may have to pick up just to see if it clears anything up.
I have to say James Van Der Beek definately wasn't Dawson in that movie. And the gay boy has gorgeous eyes. I can't decide if I like it or not. Definately some things I liked, but overall I'm not sure.
*warning* if you have issues with drugs, sex or homosexuality you might not want to see this. A couple actually walked out, but everytime something involving "gayness" happened they were making rude comments to each other. So they were apparently offended by that. SPOILER------>
...I was personally offended by the opening rape scene, which they didn't seem to have a problem with
