I worked for a telemarketing company, inbound calls only but since I was on the graveyard shift I got some freaky calls. I had to take calls for Providian (credit card with ridiculously high interest), Nads, Epil Stop, oh yea, and the Girls Gone Wild videos! This one guy would call and start asking you about your toes and stuff! "Do you paint your toenails?" "Can I suck on your toes?" and through this you had to try to get him to at least name a product because otherwise my company would't get paid! I think the worst thing of all though was that the shift was totally non-flexible. You got your schedual and it was the same every week. You couldn't take off unless you found someone to cover for you (and no one wanted to cover graveyard) and you couldn't request any time off (without a replacement) till you had been there for 6 months! Argh! Plus, I have a MAJOR dust allergy and their building triggered at least one asthma attack a night. After it sent me to the hospital I quit but they have it on record as me being fired because when I called in sick to say why I couldn't come in on my last day the computer wasn't working properly so it didn't get entered in right. GRRRRRRRRRR!
