A big surprise and disappointment for me was the Mets doing so badly! At the beginning of the season, everyone thought they would definitely make it to the playoffs, especially having so many superstars. Instead they finished last in the NL East. And it came out that some of the younger players had been smoking dope... which sucks because MLB doesn't test for marijuana use, so I am more than willing to bet that the Mets aren't the only team with potheads on their roster
Bobby Valentine was fired from the team today, so maybe they can get a manager who can take them where they should be...
