At one of my pref parties, the women did a candle pass, and each said what sisterhood meant to them. Let's just say that they weren't very original, and it really got sort of tedious. Another was a solemn sort of ceremony...I can't recall what about. The other (the one I went to) did a whole ceremony about sisterhood and sang the song One Voice, which we by that time were all bawling, and it was just awesome. The ceremony actually involved the rushees, and that's what made me feel so much a part of their group. I think it's more important to involve them than to just make it about your sorority.
