Are you also the chapter advisor? if not is there a chapter advisor? upon my arrival in Austin I joined the almost non-esistent alum club here and immediately became the V.P. but the UT chapter didn't really know me so I didn't participate with them except for rush. They have a chapter advisor that is completely separate from the alum association (though she is part of the alum assoc in Georgetown as a member)-she is older (much wiser than me
) and from what I saw this last rush the members of the chapter really respect her and what she says goes or else. She is the link between nationals and the chapter, that way nationals doesn't have to get involved unless it is the last resort. Do you have anyone like this for the chapter?
