On July 30, 2026, the Supreme Council granted a charter to a new chapter in Martha's Vineyard, MA, Rho Xi Nu. This graduate chapter is the first for a D9 organization in MV. The Chartering ceremony was conducted on August 20, 2026, in Oak Bluffs, MA, on the northeast corner of MV, the enclave for affluent Black Americans for generations who summer homes there or were full-time residents. Omega Psi Phi has had a presence on MV since the 1920s.
