In the early history of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, one family-the Love family-produced several Brothers. Edgar A. Love was one of the four Founders of Omega and its first Grand Basileus (National President). He also had three brothers who were members of Alpha Chapter at Howard University, two older and one younger. They were the children of the Rev. Julius C. Love and Mrs Susie C. Love, who were both ministers in the Methodist Episcopal Church. Two brothers were charter members of the Fraternity and another, who also became Grand Basileus, was initiated into Alpha Chapter in 1913.
