Japan is an incredibly safe country, theft is extremely rare (outside of umbrellas and bikes). You could walk into a Starbucks, place a bag/jacket/laptop on a table and spend 5 minutes ordering a coffee or using the bathroom and your things will still be there.
I usually order my bills by amount, with the lesser value being first. Having several 1000 yen bills with a single 10,000 yen bill that sticks out a few centimeters will bug me.

I wish the United States was low in crime like that. What’s their justice system like there? I’m just asking because I’m wondering how they have such low crime, unlike the U.S.
