I'm from South Carolina, and I love me some grits, bbq ribs, any kind of meat, cornpone, salted-peanuts-in-an-RC-cola, Moonpies, country music, men in tight jeans who can wear it well, a good cowboy hat, the smell of gardenias on a summer night, guys who stand up when you come to the table (melt), and hometown celebrations like the Mullet Festival (yes, we did have this back home) with contests like Ugliest Dog in Town.
Damn, I miss the South.
