Hi everyone! My name is Bryan Dosono and I am a PhD Student in Information Science and Technology at Syracuse University. I am a Fall 2008 initiate of Lambda Phi Epsilon (a historically Asian-interest fraternity) at the University of Washington. I currently serve on the Board of the National Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Panhellenic Association as Director of Membership. I joined this forum to learn more about the fraternal experiences of other Greek alumni and active members.

In my research work, I employ social network analysis with qualitative research methods to explore, interpret, and visualize large collections of social media data. I seek to understand how Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) construct and express their identity in online communities and my dissertation research uncovers the ways in which AAPIs negotiate collective action in the context of online identity work.
