The Wizarding World of Recruitment

Round 1:

I liked pretty much everywhere today, and felt pretty similarly, so I’m only going to talk about the ones that were somewhat distinct, because talking about every chapter that didn't stand out would be really boring.

Severus Snape/Voldemort- so many girls love these houses, but to me, they seemed way too polished and fake. If I joined one of these houses, I’d feel like I need to be perfect all the time, and I don’t want that.

Cornelius Fudge- This is another very polished sorority that tons of girls liked, but this time I actually clicked a bit with the girls I talked to. It’s not my favorite, but I’d still like to come back.

Hermione Granger- I really wanted to like this house, but I didn’t click with the girls I talked to that much. I still feel like this house has more to offer than what I saw today, so I want to visit again.

Cedric Diggory- This girl was nice, but she didn’t seem interested in me at all. I thought it was cool that the girl wasn’t wearing much makeup and seemed very real and relaxed, but this is supposedly a very strong recruiting chapter. I don’t hate it here, but I won’t be upset when I don’t get asked back.

Harry Potter- This house felt like home. I clicked with both the girls I talked to and didn’t want to leave. They seemed super involved and passionate, which is what I’m looking for. Sadly, this is supposed to be another strong chapter so I’m preparing myself that I may not get it back.

George Weasley- I expected to not like this house, but I actually really liked both the girls I talked to.

Luna Lovegood- The girls I talked to were nice, but it was the most awkward conversation I’ve had. Instead of asking me a new question when the conversation lulled, she asked me what I wanted to talk about, which I had no idea how to answer.

Ginny Weasley- I ended up loving this house, even though I didn’t want to, because this year they don’t have a house(If you know anything about the school I’m at, I totally just gave this identity away) and that’s something that I want. Ultimately though, with the way I fit with the girls, it would be worth it.

I’m preparing myself for a light schedule tomorrow because I have no connections, so I’ll be happy with anything.
