Have your own opinion all you want, but do not put words in my mouth. I NEVER condoned the slapping incident (I didn't see anyone else that did either). By "resolved" I meant "kicked Sylvia's sorry ass out of the pledge program" if it happened. I also don't appreciate the intimations that everyone who didn't have a 10 page fit about it is going around smacking each other upside the head...
You also seem to be missing the distinction between sisters and pledges here. Both people involved in the incident are pledges, not yet initiated members of Sigma. Every single sorority and fraternity on this board has given a bid to someone who turned out to be a nut case. They usually weren't initiated. Hopefully that is the case here. BUT AS LONG AS MTV DOES THE EDITING WITH A HEDGE CLIPPERS, WE'LL NEVER KNOW.
