I'm not sure

Hey everyone, I'm new to the board and I'm just not sure if i want to go greek. I want to because i want to be in a group that is supportive and interesting. However I'm not completely over the brainwashing i went trhough in High School from my friends and parents about fraternities. My roomate last year pledged and loved it. But then again he was the typical frat boy so that scared me a little, although the group he joined has a good reputation. UGH!! I need help! Rush is over for now but its going to start again soon and i was just wondering what to expect, what questions to ask so that i dont waste my time pledging when it isnt the fraternity that suites me the best and what to expect during pledgeing, because I don't drink (i know that its a stereotype but...) and do all of those other things that "frats" do. Also what is the average cost to join a fraternity? Any help would be greatly appreciated. THanks Mickelboy
