AGDLynn
Hi all,
AGDLynn has been a regular poster in GreekChat for years - in fact, she was how I found out about it. You could even say that because of her, AGDee and I became very good friends, because we got to know each other even better because of GreekChat. AGDee has been one of my rocks for the past few years, and is one of my go to people in this world.
Anyway, I received word this morning that AGDLynn is in ICU. She was diagnosed with leukemia last year, and has had ups and downs, certainly, but was full of hope. The word today is that doctors are expecting no change, are giving very little time left on this earth, and she will be moved to hospice tomorrow.
If ever there was an Alpha Gam sister who bled red, buff, and green, it is Lynn. I've known her for well over 20 years - we met when she was a chapter advisor for Gamma Tau, our chapter at the University of West Georgia, and I worked with her as her province director. There were times she drove me nuts, but I always knew that her heart was pure and honest, and all she wanted was what was best for "her girls" and her chapter. I've enjoyed seeing her at many gatherings in and around Atlanta for years, and when I moved back to Atlanta, made sure she was on the invite list for the open house/house blessing at my new place. Of course she and her husband came. It's just what she did.
I know Lynn would want all of you to know, as she adored GreekChat, and got a lot of joy in this forum. Please join me and many sisters in wrapping her and her husband in prayers as she transitions.
Much love, AGDLynn. You touched more people than you know.
