You should start with the process called Rush. Basically every fraternity and sorority on campus will have heavily advertised get togethers and events early every semester, designed for people to go and meet the brothers/sisters and ask whatever questions you want to know. My advice is to go to as many different rushes as possible until you find someplace that feels right, because it is a serious committment, and you want to make the right choice.
