I never thought I could walk 3.1 miles but I signed up for my local Color Run. I made it up to 2.5 on the treadmill so I knew I could do it. After the training I did, I slipped on our ceramic tile while getting ready that morning and broke my toe.
I still went with my friends and walked from the car to the finish line (which was right by the start), and slowly walked to the blue section which was the last color. I sat and watched everyone and then met up with my friends. I was so bummed but still got some color.
Color Me Rad was held the same day downtown Detroit (ours was on EMU's campus) and now Run or Dye is coming up in August and I'm debating walking that.
