The power of prayer seems to have been working in my mother's case. She is stronger, and is probably going to be discharged from the hospital before the end of the week.
She is going to go into a rehab center.
BTW, the staff on my mother's hospital floor did a very sweet thing for her on her birthday. They brought her a card and a "cake" (actually pudding, as she's on a soft foods diet). I understand that everyone who stopped by that day to care for her wished her a happy birthday. It really cheered her up.
