Grade deflation? Haha I think it sounds more like being in college. High school was waaaayyyyy easier. Now you are starting to sound like someone who blames everything on everyone else.

My school doesn't have a minimum to rush but has a suggested GPA since most won't end up successful without it. That GPA is lower than a lot of the house minimums so even if a PNM has that suggested GPA she can still get dropped by a lot of houses for grades. This can still happen to you to even if they correct your grade and you make the school minimum, so just be aware of that too.
