Sheez, how did you get your kitty to cooperate? My cat will do whatever it takes to get out of his collar. He's managed to extract himself from his collar more than once, and he has broken a breakaway collar once. He'd claw me to shreds if I tried to get him into an outfit like that!
Whiskey is an indoor kitty, and he's chipped, but I make him wear a collar 24/7 because he is very curious about the great big room with the blue ceiling and the green carpet - and there are coyotes in the area, not to mention stupid people that should never have been given a driver's license...
