Episodes 2 and 3 keep re-airing. I do not know when Episode 1 will re-aire on History or Lifetime. I'm sure it will. I am also sure they are gearing this for a profitable dvd release.

For those unfamiliar with the Hatfields and McCoys, their feud has been a (mainstream culture) running gag in the United States of America for generations. People say things like "...what are you, the Hatfields and McCoys?!" I have been intrigued by this feud since childhood.

People sometimes think the phrase "the real McCoy" came from this feud. Although that would be cool, it is widely held as untrue.
The alleged origins of "the real McCoy" (or "the real McKay") are sometimes debated because everyone claims it began with them. LOL.
