Didn't like the last 1/3 of Mockingjay. It started out great, but toward the end too many things happened all at once. And, I like that it ends on a more positive note, but not when it only happens on the very last page. Like it was an afterthought.

Agreed. I thought the last like 1/8th of the book was a dream sequence (after the bombs explode and on) but then I realized it couldn't have been because it was going on far too long. Definitely not my favorite series' endings. I also felt like she opened up a lot of themes about war, violence, and injustice and then never did anything about them. Like it just ended. Oh well.
In other news, Francis Lawrence has been
confirmed as the director for Catching Fire. Previous credits include 'I Am Legend' and 'Like Water for Elephants'. I'm excited to see what he does with it.
