^^^AHHH-I knew the haunted dorm would come up at some point. When she went to orientation the counselor who was taking them on a tour of the dorms for some reason decided to point out a particular dorm (don't remember which one although I can still visualize it because she showed it to me when I came up) where a girl lived who Ted Bundy had killed.
I think they actually pointed out the girl's room, but could be wrong on that one.
I don't remember enough (fortunately) about Ted Bundy's history to know if he killed her in the dorm or if she had the horrible misfortune to cross his path elsewhere, and she just happened to live in that dorm (I think it was the latter). At any rate, it freaked daughter out a bit (she the overly cautious type to begin with) and for the next year she went out of her way to avoid that dorm.
And sorry girls - it wasn't my intent to freak either of you out. Long time ago and to be honest - Pullman is one of the few places my overly cautious child felt completely safe 99% of the time.
