Not all of our chapters are very big on these traditions. My chapter loved doing it.

Formal Chapter is very easy to start. Wear Pin Attire to Chapter and plan any candle passes, special announcements, etc for that chapter. Have your Chaplain or Ritual Director or VP greet all women at the door to chapter and (1) Check Attire and (2) Make them identify themselves somehow (handshake, code word, etc.)

It's a really wonderful way to celebrate the rich ritual of our Sorority and enhance the bonds of Sisterhood.
