First I want to say that every house here at Alabama has a truly amazing group of young women! While it is true that I liked certain ones better than others I believe that’s only natural. I feel any of us participating in rush this year should be proud to be a member of any of these houses. Also for all of you Delta Gams, from what I have seen and the talk among other rushees, I believe you will have a great start for your new chapter.
That said after seeing the sisterhood and getting to know a few members in two of these houses I have developed such an attachment and feel so strongly that if offered I don’t believe I will accept a bid from Loeffler Randall. They are great girls and were all so nice again but I just don’t feel the same way about them as I do with Jimmy Choo and Kate Spade. It’s the feel of sisterhood that I have always heard of and dreamed for. From the first day of rush I thought that Kate Spade would be my home then I went to Jimmy Choo and felt the same again. It’s like do you love your mother or your father more.
I have prayed so much over this decision.
Am I being too sure of myself? What if I get the dreaded call? I would only have to be the first name over quota on their list to not get a bid!
